She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph Krut and Sophia Krut (George); her husband Edward "Ed" John Puchalla; her daughter-in-law Melessa Puchalla (Wade); and her sisters-in-law, Joanna Madden (Elmer) and Ann Aurand (Ted).
She is survived by: her children, Steve Puchalla (Cindy), Donna Hancock (Ernest) of Tonopah, AZ and John Puchalla (Debra) of Pelham, NY; her grandchildren, Paul, Sarah (Chris), Rhea (Tim), Forest (Veronica), Corsair (Laura), Sierra (Georgie), Joseph, William and Edward; her brothers, John Krut (late Janie) of Levittown, Steve Krut (Cindy) of Marietta and James Krut (Linda) of Gettysburg; and her siblings-in-law, Stanley Puchalla (late Loretta) of Philadelphia, Robert Puchalla (Barbara) of Huntingdon, Barbara Chiodo (late Donald) of Morgantown, WV and Minerva Shindler (Bob) of Mechanicsburg. She is also survived by her 12 great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (410 E Simpson St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A reception was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Open House (25 E Main St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in celebration of Rose's life can be made to the International Service Center for Ukranians and others in need, 21 South River St. Harrisburg, PA 17101 or St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, 1300 Benner Pike, Suite B, State College, PA 16801.
