With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Brechbiel of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Newport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 23, 2020 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by : her parents, Emmett Orris Leinaweaver and Elnora Leinaweaver (Hultzapple); her husband Charles "Charlie" Rollo Brechbiel; her son Vernon Brechbiel; her grandson Erich Brechbiel; her son-in-law Eric Robert Kauffman; and her siblings, John Leinaweaver, Lloyd Leinaweaver and Lucille Allander.
She is survived by : her children, Lois Kauffman of Walkersville, MD, Lynn Brechbiel of Mechanicsburg, Vera Brechbiel of Mechanicsburg and Paul Brechbiel of Dillsburg; her grandchildren, Kirk Brechbiel (Renee Lieux), Rhys, Aynsley, Pyran and Scott Brechbiel (Jillian); her children, Chase, Jackson, Naomi, Amber King (Michael), Claire, Caroline and Bryce Kauffman; her sister Shirley Shughart (Joseph) of Carlisle; her sister-in-law Jean Bickhart (Larry) of Ephrata; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Brechbiel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
