With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Susan Helen Goodbred (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Susan left this world on October 29, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Simcho and Ethel Simcho. She is survived by: her husband John Goodbred; her children, John R. Goodbred, Jr. (Christy), Dr. Andrew Goodbred (Marcey) and Erin Williams (Christian); her grandchildren, Kyle, Elyse, Emma Goodbred, Abigail Bossert (Williams), Ellie Williams, Sean, Benjamin and Evan Goodbred; her great grandchildren, Theo and Sophie Goodbred; and her pets, Sue and Buddy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (400 E Simpson St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Open House (25 E Main St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055).
