She was predeceased by: her parents, David Oberlin and Erma Oberlin (Eddinger); her husband Harold W. Gessner; her daughter Peggy Sue Gessner; her son-in-law Dan Swank; her grandchildren, Lisa Ann Gessner and Bryan Swank; her brothers, Ray Oberlin and Ernie Oberlin; and her siblings-in-law, Martha Oberlin, Ernie Gessner, Luther Gessner and Vernon Gessner.
She is survived by: her children, Ray (Linda Gessner), Scott (Luci Gessner), Janet (Michael Shoemaker) and Judy Swank; her siblings, Oren (Pat Oberlin), James Oberlin of Mifflinburg and Freda; her siblings-in-law, Ray Walter of Mifflinburg, Roger Fahmer of South Carolina, Ruth Gessner of Mifflinburg, Pat Gessner of Lewisburg and Emma Gessner of Northumberland; and her grandchildren, Chad (Shelby Gessner), Traci (Deken Kline), Shawn (Sam Shoemaker), Amy (Neil Moyer), Tim Shoemaker, Stefanie Swank, Angyla Swank, Jeff Gessner and Jamie Gessner. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
