With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Brethel of Milford, Pennsylvania, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on March 13, 2022 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Brethel to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas A. Hanley and Catherine Hanley (Connelly); her husband Joseph P. Brethel, Jr.; and her daughters-in-law, Sue Brethel and Geri Brethel.

She is survived by : her children, Joseph Brethel (Francine), Thomas Brethel, Michael Brethel, Stephen Brethel (Patricia), Dr. Maureen Brethel and Richard Brethel (Dolores); and her grandchildren, Michael, Jacquelyn, Christopher, Katie, Kimberly, Kyle, Gregory, Brendan, Samantha, Danielle, Brian and Kevin. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
