She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.

“My heartfelt sympathy to her family. Melissa and I were very close in junior high and high school. She was so funny- with a twist of sarcasm. We used to laugh and laugh for hours. Wish her and I got together at some point. Life just consumed us. I’m sorry to hear she was so sick. I know God has her wrapped in His arms and will take it from here.
