She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Boyer and Mabel Boyer (Enders); her husband Howard Silks (Buster); her brothers, Robert Boyer and Fred Boyer; her son Kenneth Silks; and her granddaughter Erin Adamire.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Hardy (Jeff) and Ron Silks (Wanda); and her grandsons, Christopher Hardy (Chasity), Damien Silks (Tasha) and Cole Silks. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
