He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lou Hoffheinz Mellinger; and his parents, Harvey B. Mellinger and Gladys Wolfe Mellinger. He is survived by: his children, Kim Keller of Lancaster, Luanne (David Sweigart) of Lancaster, Lisa (Fred Thomas) of Lancaster, Kenneth (Lorraine Mellinger) of Willow Street, Kathy Oberholtzer of Leola and Melissa (Mark Clark) of Columbia. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
