He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel S. Bigler and Elaine Smith (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia (Artz); his son Samuel Evan Bigler; his siblings, Tom Bigler (Beth), Kate Ness (Bill) and Mary Haldeman; and his in-laws, Susan Channell (Mark) of Lancaster, Stephen Artz of Lancaster and Bill Artz (Maureen) of Bucks County. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM.
Sam was extremely generous, donating to many causes, giving clothing and coats to those in need, paying for others meals unbeknownst to them and many more.
