He is survived by : his wife Elaine M. "Lentz" Simler; and his siblings-in-law, Ed (Linda) and Ruthie (late Robert).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hahn Fh & Cremation Services Inc. (123 North Ave, Millvale, PA 15209). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 6:00 PM.
