He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Hile and Alice Mae Hile (Mathieson); and his brother-in-law Ross Peters. He is survived by: his siblings, Daisy Peters of Middleburg, Sylvia Harshbarger (Ross) of Belleville and William Hile (Joyce) of Spring Mills. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to a hospice charity of one's choice.
