He was predeceased by : his parent Charles Calvin Strayer; his daughter Christine Marie (Strayer); and his son-in-law Joseph Valazak of Heilwood, PA.. He is survived by : his parent Grace Strayer (Johns); his siblings, Irene Gehl, Fern Brosius, Mildred Naugle, Emily Forney, June Gindelsperger, Carl Strayer, Don Strayer, Ken Strayer, Bill Strayer and Bryce Strayer; his granddaughter Theresa; his wife Kathryn "Kay" Louise (Piskuric); his son Jerry Thomas Jr.; his daughter-in-law Mary Ann (Misoda); his grandchildren, Jason Valazak of Germantown, MD and Jennifer (Valazak); his spouse Kurt Hoffman of McMurray, PA; his great grandchildren, Kaylin Hoffman and Riley Hoffman; and also, Theresa Strayer and Lee Strayer of Mineral Point, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
