He was predeceased by : his mother Nancy Christine Meek; and his grandparents, Robert, Beatrice Meek, Eugene and Della Godfrey.

He is survived by : his father Dennis Vincent Godfrey; and his siblings, Rachel Godfrey, Christopher Godfrey, Tonya Blair, Heather Moore (Dusty), Darryl Johnson, Jennifer Carter (Timothy), Kenny Johnson (Julie), Ashely Wood (Stewart), Bradley Meek (Cherry), Samantha Glarner (Jason), Jacob Meek, Taylor Meek and Catherine Meek.
