She was predeceased by : her parents, Tony DeSimone and Nancy DeSimone Cwiakala; her stepfather Walter Cwiakala; her significant other Reggie Sepesy; and her stepdaughter Cassie.

She is survived by : her sisters, Patty Byrne (Timothy Byrne) and Susan Szczerba (Frank Szczerba); her stepdaughters, Jennifer, April and Stacie; her pets, Gizmo and Gonzo; and also Phil Zebro. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made through her sisters for memorial expenses.
