It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Zilka Sr. (Monongahela, Pennsylvania), born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 2, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Zilka and Julia Futey Zilka; and his siblings, George, Andrew, Cyril John "Zeke", Veronica, Julia Zilka, Ann Druguet, Mary Ruday and Helen Konick.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cyrnek Zilka; his children, Joseph E. Zilka, Jr. (Donna) of Rostraver Township, Jennifer Marco (Jeff) of London, Todd Zilka (Jennifer) of Daisytown and Heather Zilka of Dublin, Ohio; his grandchildren, Xander, Talyn Zilka, Jordan and James Marco; and his sisters, Agnes Duttine and California, Sr..
