Batiste (Monongahela, Pennsylvania), born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 3, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Viljo Laatu and Anna Sophie Piisila Laatu; and her brother Donald Laatu. She is survived by: her brother William Laatu of Monongahela; and her sons, William Batiste (Virginia) of Honolulu, HI, Paul Batiste (Christine) of McKees Rocks, PA and Brian Batiste (Danee) of Fulshear, TX. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces and four grandchildren.
