He is survived by: his wife Loraine Shapiro (Patterson); his children, Brendan Shapiro (Lisa) and Lindsey Schneider (John); his grandchildren, Spencer Shapiro, Ella Schneider and Aiden Schneider; and his brother Edward Shapiro.
