It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Monahan of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Monahan and Alice Monahan (Gallagher); his wife Theresa Monahan; and his daughters, Amy Burleson and Ellen Fry.

He is survived by : his children, John Monahan of Montoursville, Daniel Monahan of Brooklyn, N. Y., Mary Saputo of Mich and Tessa DeLoach (Charles) of Ind; and his sister Alice Kowalski of Hazleton.
