She was predeceased by: her parents, William W. Nelson Jr. and Julinda (Gomes); her great grandchild Christopher Meadows; her siblings, Wayne William Nelson and Caroline Mary Leuszler (Nelson); her nephew Peter Leuszler; and her pets, Mayla and Chase.
She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Zukowski; her children, Robert A. K. Gurkin Jr., Tony Zukowski of Virginia Beach, VA, James J. Zukowski (Laura) of Frederick, MD and Gina Pappas (Thomas) of Bowdoin, ME.; her grandchildren, Bo Gurkin, Danielle Hockett (Gurkin), Allison Kline (Gurkin), Anthony Zukowski II, Corey Zukowski, Kelsi Meadows (Zukowski), Colby Pappas, Brooklyn Pappas, Aiden Zukowski and Emma Zukowski; and her great grandchildren, Blake Zukowski, Weston Kekaulike Gurkin, Amelia Paige Kline, Mason Meadows and Sawyer Meadows.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Joseph the Worker Parish (702 W 4th St, Williamsport, PA 17701).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Saint Joseph the Worker Parish in Williamsport, PA, so that her spirit of generosity may continue to touch the lives of others.
