Richard C. Chapin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard C. Chapin (Montrose, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 30, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Chapin and Dorothy Jeanette Chapin (Powell); his wife Jean Chapin (Metzroth); and his siblings, Caroline Lash and Robert Chapin.
He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Chapin of New Milford and Cynthia Chapin Hurd of Montvale, VA; his grandchildren, Aaron D. Chapin and Alexandria Hanessian Jackson (Paul Jackson); his great grandchild Liam Alexander Jackson of Ithaca, NY; his grandson Drew Clinton James Hanessian (Tristany); his sister-in-law Nancy Chapin of North Babylon, NY; and his sibling Tiers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
