He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan E McCartney and Margaret Allshouse McCartney; his wife Patricia; and his brother Terry McCartney. He is survived by: his son Harlan E. McCartney III of Oklahoma City, OK; and his siblings, Judy Garcia of Washington, Robert McCartney (Chris) of Hopewell and Jeff McCartney (Linda) of Canonsburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home LTD. (27 Cherry Ave, Houston, PA 15342). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
