He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Samuel and Wanda Palmieri (Woiterwicz). He is survived by: his wife Rosanne A. Palmieri (Cubberley); his son David Frank, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Christine Palmieri of Morrisville; his daughter Jessica Susan; his son-in-law Samuel Colombino of Philadelphia; his brother Joseph Palmieri; his sister-in-law Lucille Palmieri of Cream Ridge, NJ; and his grandchildren, Amanda Lynn Palmieri, Jacqueline Marie Palmieri, Anna Rose Colombino and Samuel Joseph Colombino, IV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
