He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Novak (Resseguie); his siblings, Jack Solosky and Gloria Noto; and his parents, Joseph Novak and Lucille Novak (Muniewski).
He is survived by: his friend Joe; his children, Lori Kretzer (Harold) of Kingston, Tenn., Joseph W. Novak of Tacoma, Wash. and John A. Novak (Amy) of Seattle, Wash.; his grandchildren, Steven Drakes, Robert Drakes, Elizabeth Novak, Joseph Novak, Jack Novak and Nathan Novak; and his former wife Geraldine Novak. He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
