Chafika Hayek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chafika Hayek of Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Chafika departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Chafika. Though Chafika may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Hobeika and Jamila Hobeika (Atik); her children, Fadi Hayek (Elaine) and Walid Hayek (Lisett); her grandchildren, Jacob, Christopher and Alexandria Hayek; and her siblings, George Hobieka and Leila Habre.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. (23 N 9th St, Stroudsburg, PA 18360). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stroudsburg Cemetery (1103 Dreher Ave, Stroudsburg, PA 18360).
