He was predeceased by: his parent James Nicolette; and his siblings, Nelson, Anthony, Vernon Nicolette, Helen Corry, Ann Catazone and Mary Louise Larocca.
He is survived by: his parent Angela Santora Nicolette; his wife Eva Joy Brown Nicolette; his children, Deborah L. Cameron of Mt. Pleasant, Michael R. Nicolette (Denise) of Scottsdale, AZ, James Eugene Nicolette II of Mt. Pleasant and Brett A. Nicolette (Cassandra) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, William J. Cameron, Justin L. Cameron, Michael J. Nicolette, James E. Nicolette, III, Seth A. Nicolette, Jett A. Nicolette, Memphis L. Kinneer, Casey Campbell and Kelly Campbell; his great grandchildren, Emma, Kadance, Lilly and Nolan; and his sibling John "Jack" Nicolette (Betty).
