He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin E. French, and Ruth Newell French, Sr.; his former wife Nancy L. Ruffcorn French; his daughter Carrie R. French; his sister Martha J. French; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth M. French.
He is survived by: his brother Robert French of Fredricksburg; his nephew Robert French, II (Cassandra) of McConnellsburg; his niece Judy Hammett (Dorsey); his great-nephew Matthew of Ohiopyle; and his fiancée Karen Armel of Mt. Pleasant.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggests, with gratitude, memorials be made to Bryan Church, 128 Chaintown Rd. Dawson, Pa. 15428 in Ed's memory.
