It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Olive Mae Davis of Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry T. Stump and Margaret Stump (Kreps). She is survived by : her husband H. John "Jack" Davis; her children, John Davis (Ann) of Tobyhanna, Janet Mertz (Robert) of Spencer and Margaret Johnson (Lieutenant Colonel Grant) of Duncanville, Texas; her grandchildren, Diana Davis, Lauren Lehman, John Davis, Trevor, Justin Mertz, Benjamin Johnson, Stephanie Garcia and Nathanael Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Nadine, Griffin and Ingrid Mertz.
Due to COVID, there will be private services at the convenience of the family for Olive.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that cards of condolence and/or memorial donations be made in Olive's name to the Mt. Pocono United Methodist Church, 12 Church St., Mt. Pocono, Pa. 18344.
