He was predeceased by : his parents, William Roughton Powell and Pauline Bess Gardner; his wife Joanne Derk; and his brother Ernest Powell. He is survived by : his friend Dunkin Donuts; his daughters, Eva (Edward Parchuke) and Rachel (Ben Rhoades); his stepson Matthew Knittle; his grandchildren, Reghan, Mckenzie, Crew Parchuke and Violet Rhoades; and his sister Elizabeth Sweet. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
