She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Dietz and Lida Dietz; her former husband Charles Lichty; her husband Alfred Schmitt; and her sister Donna Eichelberger (Jim).
She is survived by: her children, Debra Mannella (Gene), Dana VanKirk (Thomas), David Lichty (Antoinette) and Chuck Lichty (Francine); and her grandchildren, Jenna, Julie (Cody), Brian, Eric, Danielle, Alexandra, Chuckie (Anne), Nicole (Brian), Marleigh, Leo and Mia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Alzheimer's Association or to a local animal charity.
