She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Thonipurackal "Tony" Cherian and Elsie Louise Krueger Cherian. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Mathews; her sons, Paul (Nikki) and David (Amber Stephens); her grandchildren, Kamryn, Alexandra and Mason; and her siblings, Sunny Cherian (Simone), Paul Cherian, Selma Mueller (Alan) and Anne Kurashige. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
