She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Muia and Rose Prestia Muia; her husband Rudolph Amati; and her siblings, Virginia Stefko, Evelyn Skorvan, Elizabeth Hall, Yolanda Roberts, Mary Muia, Joseph Muia, Edward Muia and Eugene Muia.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Sico of Export, PA, Cheryl Chorba of Elizabeth, Mary Jane Gano of North Carolina and Rudy Amati of Murrysville; her grandchildren, Courtney, Thomas, Rita, Mary Elizabeth, Anthony, Prestia, Katrina and Isabella; and her great grandchildren, Eloise, Mirra, Jamesan and Vess.
