She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Valley and Audrey Valley (Lawson); her grandmother Mae "Read" Lawson; and her sister Carol A. Willis (Joseph R. Willis). She is survived by: her husband Robert Abel; her children, Darlene Lopes (Gary) of Murrysville and Robert C. Abel (Rebecca); her sister Jacquelyn Gerkey (Kenneth) of Mt. Lebanon; her sister-in-law Lillian Rausch of Troy Hill; her grandchildren, Michelle Lopes, Zoe Abel and Parker Abel; and her child Sorrows Catholic Church. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
