He is survived by: his spouse Mary Ann Machen (O'Malley); his children, Jennifer BeHanna (Jason), Christopher Machen (Caroline), Catherine Avendano (Sebastian) and Kevin Machen; his grandchildren, Wesley, Alice, Elsa, Jack, Marcos and Luciana; and his siblings, Thomas Machen and Gary Machen (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
