He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. St and Wilma St (Hetsko); and his brother William Fenton. He is survived by: his wife Pamela L. St (Albanesi); his children, Joshua James St. John of Apex, NC and Maura D. St. John (Thomas Lynn) of Murrysville; his grandchildren, Lucy and Joseph St. John; his sister Patricia Kwiatkowski (Theodore) of Moosic; and his brother-in-law Eugene Albanesi (Lillian) of Scranton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, his family asks that people gather with their family and friends and raise a pint of beer toasting Jim, preferably while listening to Van Morrison, in his memory.
