She was predeceased by: her parents, James Porter and Lillian Jackson Porter; her husband Edward A. Thomas; and her sister Beth Porter Bates. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Ferrill, Carole Mannering (Henry) of Newport Ritchey, FL and James E. Thomas of Holiday, FL; her granddaughter Kristen Cohen; and her great grandchildren, Kiersten and Caleb Cohen.
