He was predeceased by : his parents, John Martonik and Anna Martonik (Meso); and his son Brian C. Martonik. He is survived by : his wife Mary "Betsy" Martonik (Allgeier); his son Mark L. Martonik (Rona) of Murrysville; his daughter-in-law Kristin Martonik (Butler); and his grandchildren, Alexis, Ashley, Bromley, Brielle and Bryce.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. (347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, PA 15084). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Airy Cemetery (2800 Old Freeport Rd, Natrona Heights, PA 15065).
