It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Elizabeth Matz (Murrysville, Pennsylvania), born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 19, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Blaine Vortish and Dortha Vortish (Dininger); and her sister Patricia Baxmeier (Richard). She is survived by: her husband Alexander Matz; her brother Phillip Vortish (Nancy); and her children, Eric Matz (Alicia), Curtis Matz (Kelly), Karen Palmer (Thomas) and Kristin Ropchock (Jason). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
