He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Bashur and Elizabeth Bashur (Jacobs); his former spouse Francis Ann Frank; his children, Jackie Milheim (Will) of Apollo, Michele Anderson (Keith) of Export, Michael Bashur of Murrysville and Bill Bashur (Patty) of Delmont; his granddaughters, Michele Milheim of Oakmont and Hannah Novacco (Milheim) of Blawnox; his nephews, David, Paul (Tracy) and Aric Chropek; his great-nephew Paul Chropek; his cousin Anita Kongelka; his siblings, Edward Alfred Bashur, William Edward Bashur and Rhoda Isaac; and his wife Fran.
