He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lachimia and Agnes Lachimia; and his brother James Lachimia. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Griffiths Lachimia; his sons, Norman Lachimia (Linda), Dan Lachimia (Laurie) and Scott Lachimia (Helen); and his brother Joseph Lachimia (Maria). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
