She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Hanlon and Emma Elizabeth Newcomer Hanlon; her sister Shirley Hanlon; and her grandson Zachary Kiebler. She is survived by: her husband Robert W. Palmquist; her daughters, Terilyn Hahalyak (Allan Henkel) of Monroeville and Shelly Kiebler (Greg) of Export; her grandchildren, Brett, Andrew, Morgan and Nathan; and her brothers, Bernie Hanlon (Betsy) of Monroeville and Robert Hanlon (Janet) of Plum.
