We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2023, at the age of 93, Charles F. Gerberich Sr. of Myerstown, Pennsylvania, born in Annville, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles F. Gerberich Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank W. Gerberich and Stella S. Gerberich (Struphar). He is survived by : his wife Marilyn F. Gerberich (Peiffer); his sons, Mark W. (Beth Gerberich) of Akron, OH, Charles F., Jr. (Danielle Gerberich) of Myerstown and Peter A. (Amy Gerberich) of Cleona; and his grandchildren, Meghan, Amanda Gerberich, Matthew, Thomas, Joel, Derek and Andrew Gerberich. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046; or Lebanon YMCA, 201 N. 7th St., Lebanon, PA 17046.

“To Marilyn and "Charlie's" Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Charlie from Camp Nawakwa. I was a Counselor there during the summer of 1975. I will always remember his wonderful smile, his wit, his charm, and his love for Nawakwa. He was always so nice to me and all the camp children who filled the craft room each and every week all summer long. The staff used to refer to him as Charlie "Gimp" because of his love and talent with crafts. I will remember him always. Jim Arnold.”
