He was predeceased by : his wife Joan E. Sweigart (Whitmoyer); his parents, Irvin Sweigart and Emma Sweigart (Redcay); his son Roger Sweigart; and his sister Dorothy Kurtz.

He is survived by : his son Scott (Diana Sweigart) of Newmanstown; his grandchildren, Shawn (Yvonne Sweigart) of Newmanstown and Tara Sweigart of Harrisburg; and his great grandchildren, Kiersten, Kaitlyn Sweigart, Carmella, Sophia Miller and Dallas Evans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Rd., Myerstown, PA 17067.
