He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett Clair, Sr. and Martha Elizabeth Teeter (Davis); and his siblings, Everett Clair, Jr., Robert and Naomi Fitz.

He is survived by : his wife Violet "Polly" Rummel; his son David A.; his grandchildren, Mitchell T., Hayley E. and Camryn N.; and his siblings, LaVerne Younker, Carol Holabeck and Allen Teeter.
