She was predeceased by: her spouse Donald F. Johnson; and her parent Edward D.. She is survived by: her parent Florence Newhard (Ackerman); her son Craig E. Johnson (Ruth Ann); her nephew Dale Johnson (Yvonne); and her nieces, JoAnn Vogel (Donald) of Cincinnati and Carol Sue Altemose of Alburtis.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered in memory of Clara to Dryland United Church of Christ of Newburg.
