He was predeceased by: his parent Albert Longenbach; his siblings, Carl Longenbach, Clarence Longenbach, George Longenbach, Charles Longenbach and Verna Hoffman; and his stepson David Allshouse.
He is survived by: his parent Mary Longenbach (Delp); his wife Gloria; his stepchildren, James Allshouse (Rose) of Palmer Township and Linda Edinger (Gregory) of Virginia Beach; his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Stephen, Julie, Jacob and Ava; his sister Betty "Sissy" Transue (Robert) of Belfast; his nephew Jeffrey Longenbach, Jr. of Moore Township; and also Herbert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
