He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary Jane Compardo (Altieri); his parent Dominic Compardo; his son John Jr; and his sisters, Hilda, Mary, Esther and Rena.

He is survived by: his parent Rena Compardo (Dally); and his children, Darlene Bio of Bethlehem and Darrell (Marilu) of Nazareth.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in John's memory to the DeSales University Compardo Athletic Complex, c/o Institutional Advancement, 2755 Station Ave. Center Valley, PA 18034.
