She is survived by: her parents, Jesus A. Veras and Madison E. Slack; her grandparents, Cindy, Ronald Slack, Amaryllis and Andre Veras; her great-grandparent Ana Cancel; and her great-uncle Jesus Kiko Cancel. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and other extended family.
