He was predeceased by: his parent James Albert; and his brother Gary James Hamm. He is survived by: his parent Katherine Belle Hamm (Hancock); his spouse Susan J. Toolan-Hamm (Bechtel); his daughters, Michele Kay McKenzie, Bethann Duyssen and Jennifer Stacy Mack; his stepchildren, Lynn A. Zerfass and David R. Toolan; his sister Kathleen Weider; and his stepsisters, Ann Behers and Mary Capuano.
