He was predeceased by: his parent Walter Haupt. He is survived by: his parent Jean Kern Haupt; his sister Kathleen Bretz of Northampton; his niece Gretchen Bretz of Atlanta, GA; his nephew Joseph Bretz (Wendy) of Quebec; and also, Josiah of Quebec and Luke of Quebec. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to the local VFW Post 4366, 144 Mauch Chunk St., Nazareth, PA 18064 or to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), woundedwarriorproject.org.
