It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter J. Fries Jr. of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Fries, Sr. and Erma Fries (Bortz); and his wife Sandra (Derr).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home (211 E Center St, Nazareth, PA 18064). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests no flowers because Walter will be laid to rest in the mausoleum. Instead, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: Tails of Valor paws of honor, 1776 Salem Road, Quakertown, PA. 18951.
